Load of Washing Machines

Laundry washers/washing machines usually have a capacity of 4-5 kg. It’s better not to overload the machine so that clothes can really be cleaned well. Overloading can mean dirt being re-deposited back to the clothes due to lack of space during the cycle.

Below are more or less some indications on how much our clothes weigh:

Blouse, shirts:  200 gr aprox
Skirts, Pants: 300 gr aprox

Jeans: 700 gr aprox

Bed sheets: 450 a 650 gr aprox
Big towels: 650 gr aprox
Hand towels: 200 gr

Table cloth for 4: 250 gr aprox
Table cloth for 12: 850 gr aprox
